Our Story
Chakig Eco-tourism Centre is operated by The Registered Trustees of Chakig, a membership organization established in 2003. Previously known as Nakoosi Eco Lodge, we evolved to become Mukono District's first animal sanctuary, bringing wildlife conservation and education closer to local communities.
Our Mission
To promote tourism and conservation through accessible wildlife experiences, environmental education, and sustainable eco-tourism practices that benefit both wildlife and local communities.
